Vittafos MKP can be applied both via fertigation in hydroponics and generally for foliar application. Vittafos MKP is highly concentrated (35% P2O5). Thanks to the high specific gravity of 1.51 kg/l, this results in a P2O5 content of 530 g per liter.
In hydroponics, other nutrients can be added to obtain a balanced nutrient solution.
Fertilization programs should be well-prepared and calculated; water analyses and other necessary parameters such as pH and conductivity must be strictly taken into account.
For hydroponics, dosages are expressed in millimoles or milliequivalents depending on the crop and growth phase.
When using Vittafos MKP, these values for phosphorus and potassium can be partially or completely substituted; otherwise, they would need to be covered by crystalline MKP or other raw materials.
203 g of Vittafos MKP correspond to 1 milliequivalent of H2PO4– and 1 milliequivalent of K+.
Put simply:
1 kg of crystalline MKP can be replaced by 1 liter of Vittafos MKP to supply the plant with the same amount of P2O5 and K2O, but with a stronger effect.
Properties:
– Fertilizer solution with high levels of soluble phosphorus and potassium.
– Very easy and rapid uptake of macro-nutrients.
– Same elemental ratio as mono-potassium phosphate (MKP 52/34), making it ideally suited for hydroponics (soilless cultivation).
Advantages and goals:
– Vittafos MKP is easier to apply and much more effective than standard crystalline MKP.
– Promotes the uptake of phosphorus and other nutrients.
– Guarantees higher yield and better quality.
– Enhances plant resistance to environmental influences and makes them more robust.
– The high potassium content ensures better quality (color, sugar content, firmness, size, shelf life, etc.).
Miscibility:
This product is compatible with all standard crop protection products.
However, the manufacturer recommends conducting a jar test prior to application.
